novaplan ® 02980 consists of a mixture of organic and inorganic fibres as well as mineral fillers.

Thus this material is resistant to continuous temperatures up to 1000°C.

Due to the portion of organic fibres and binders and in consequence the temporary development of fume and odour at first temperature load, the novaplan ® 02980 is recommended for use at continuous temperatures up to 600°C.

Typical applications:

• gasket for exhaust systems – cladded between perforated steel
• shielding component encased in closed mouldings
